She has won a British Fantasy Award (for Best Short Story: The Coffin-Maker\u2019s Daughter<\/em>), two Aurealis Awards (for\u00a0Best Collection: The Girl with No Hands and Other Tales<\/em> and\u00a0Best Fantasy Short Story: The February Dragon<\/em> (co-authored with Lisa L Hannett (tied with \u201cYowie\u201d by Thoraiya Dyer)), and was recently shortlisted for a World Fantasy Award.<\/p>\n
