Who is Robert Easterbrook<\/span>?<\/h3>\n

\"The<\/a>I’m a late\u00a0author, as I’ve heard some people call us \u2013 I didn’t write my first novel until later in life, while completing my PhD. I wrote my first novel, Reciprocity (Sci-fi\/crime), in 2012, an attempt at writing a novel. Some people liked it so I tried again with The Directive (paranormal\/crime). The response was positive; people wanted the read the next instalment straight away, but I hadn’t written it! And I’m still trying. My third novel, The Subjugation (Sci-fi\/crime), I recently had professionally edited and then submitted it to HarperCollins. My fingers and toes are crossed. Wish me luck! My fourth novel, Ocean Thyme, I just finished writing the first draft, I hope it will put me in the same ranks as Zena Shapter. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

What music do they like?<\/h3>\n

My ‘genre’ is split between Sci-fi\/crime and paranormal\/crime. I now have two Sci-fi\/crime and two paranormal\/crime. And when I’m writing, I get a feel for the type of music that should go with the story, then make a compilation and listen to it as I write and get inspired; I have one for every piece of writing. Ocean Thyme, the fourth novel, has a soundtrack containing a song by Desiderii Marginis called Come Ruin and Rapture<\/em>:<\/p>\n
