He is author of <em>Rynosseros, Blue Tyson, Twilight Beach, Rynemonn, Wormwood, The Man Who Lost Red, An Intimate Knowledge of the Night, Antique Futures: The Best of Terry Dowling, Blackwater Days, Basic Black: Tales of Appropriate Fear, Make Believe: A Terry Dowling Reader, Amberjack: Tales of Fear &amp; Wonder, <\/em>and<em> Clowns at Midnight<\/em>. He is editor of the World Fantasy Award-winning <em>The Essential Ellison, Mortal Fire: Best Australian SF <\/em>and<em> The Jack Vance Treasury<\/em>. His stories have appeared in <em>The Year\u2019s Best Science Fiction, The Year\u2019s Best SF, The Mammoth Book of Best New SF, The Year\u2019s Best Fantasy, The Best New Horror <\/em>and<em> The Year\u2019s Best Fantasy and Horror<\/em>. Terry holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Western Australia, an MA (Hons) in English Literature and a BA (Hons) in English Literature, Archaeology and Ancient History, both from the University of Sydney.
