230,000 Homes Read About Me & My #NBWG

Peninsula Living Zena ShapterWhat a great way to start the year – with a feature in January’s Peninsula Living!

It’s been a bit of a tough festive season for me, with some bad family news that will see me returning to England for a short time, as soon as possible. So it’s particularly warming to see how supportive my local community here on Sydney’s Northern Beaches is of my writing career, and that of ‘my writers’ – the members of the Northern Beaches Writers’ Group.

So many people have been interested in the story of how we came to collectively publish Scribbles in the Dark and A Dolphin for Naia that it’s spread from the internet into The Manly Daily and now into Peninsula Living. The readership for these publications is astounding – 145,000 and 87,000 respectively, giving the NBWG and I exposure to over 230,000 homes. Wow!

Publicity for our award-winning books doesn’t stop there, however, as we’ll be doing author appearances at schools and libraries into the new year. If you’d like to arrange an author appearance, to discover more about the books and/or our writing process, please contact us. To support us on Facebook, I’m here and the Northern Beaches Writers’ Group’s page is here.

Or you can simply buy the books, and support The Kids Cancer Project by clicking on the titles: Scribbles in the Dark and A Dolphin for Naia, or by following the links here.

In the meantime, here’s the Peninsula Living feature, for your reading pleasure: In the News!
