Who is Leife Shallcross ?
Leife Shallcross lives with her family at the bottom of Mount Ainslie in Canberra, in a house she painted turquoise. Her work has appeared in several Australian anthologies and Aurealis, and she has more stories forthcoming in 2015, including in the next CSFG anthology, The Never Never Land, and Strange Little Girls by Belladonna Publishing. When writing is not consuming her spare time and energy, she plays the fiddle (badly). She is also the current president of the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild

Just about any Florence & the Machine song gets my creative juices going. The music is divine, but it’s the incredible lyrics that really catch my imagination – there’s just so much magic in them.
