This month, I was asked by Pittwater Life Magazine to share my thoughts on a book that inspired me, held a special meaning and/or taught me a life lesson. It was for a regular section of their magazine called ‘The Book(s) You Must Own’.
What a great idea!
I loved looking over my bookshelves and thinking of one book – just one book – to talk about.
Which book would you have chosen?
Would you simply have suggested your current favourite, the classic you’ve always loved, or the book that changed your life forever. Which book was your first love? Which book was the one that made you realise you’d always love reading (or writing)? Perhaps there was a series of books that always made you want more?
It took me a while to think of just the right one to recommend!
Let me know which book you would have chosen in the comments below! In the meantime, here’s the answer I gave Pittwater Life Magazine:

Frank Herbert’s Dune saga
Good choice, Robert! What a classic 🙂
