What music do they like?

My two current music writing fixes are Hans Zimmer’s wonderful soundtrack for Interstellar:

I’m also going through classic Kate Bush, especially Hounds of Love:

Quite some variety there, but great stuff and full of the right kind of energy for putting words on the page.

Zena Shapter

Zena Shapter writes from a castle in a flying city hidden by a thundercloud, reaching across age and genre into the heart of storytelling. A multi-award-winning author of speculative and contemporary fiction, she teaches writing at festivals, libraries and schools, judges various literary awards, mentors and edits other writers, and encourages everyone to value the importance of creativity. She loves movies, frogs, chocolate, and potatoes, though not at the same time!

    Hi Zena

The Interstellar track has been blocked for reasons of copyright by Warner Bros.

But the Kate Bush song is playable – and an old favorite.

    Cheers
