Who’s that?

Kirsten Tranter is the author of the internationally acclaimed novel The Legacy (shortlisted for the ABIA Literary Fiction award, the ALS Gold Medal, the Indie Debut Fiction award, and longlisted for the Miles Franklin award). Her second novel, A Common Loss, was released in 2012.

Author Notes:

I don’t really have a writing space at home that I use – I usually write at the library. In Sydney, I like the Mitchell and Fisher. We’ve just got back from New York where I wrote mostly at the Avery Library of Art and Architecture. I didn’t take any pictures of it unfortunately but there’s one here (above). It is pretty special. I miss it!
